Frequently Asked Questions
What kind of projects are you taking on?
I will only be taking on projects that I feel will be a good fit for my style. Being selective with my clientele and keeping to my style will ensure you the best quality work! I will be accepting a limited amount of projects for custom work. Pre-made designs and existing projects will be priority.
I’ll be working Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday, Saturday.
Flash designs are found on my “flash” highlight pinned to my profile.
Keep in mind if your only availability is a Saturday you’re less likely to be booked since Saturdays are the first to be booked. There’s only 4 a month and they go quick!
Ongoing projects will be scheduled first and then new projects after!
I will leave the submissions open for three days to allow everyone to get their submissions in. People who have submitted while my books are closed do not get priority. Only submissions submitted during this three day period will be considered. I try to give everyone an equal chance during the submission process so things are fair. If you do not respond in 24 hours of receiving an email from me your day may be offered to the next person so please pay attention to your emails! WIP/ongoing projects get first dibs on dates and usually take up a lot of my open days. Don’t be discouraged if it takes a few booking rounds to get in. I’m only one person and I can’t tattoo long hours. It’s never personal! If you’ve been tattooed in the last few two or so booking rounds I may skip you this round to give others a chance. You’ll find the submission form in my bio to submit your ideas. Please submit a Jotform to be considered for booking even if you have a WIP project.
If you do not hear from me please do not take it personally! I’m only one person and I can only take on so much at a time. I book every two months to allow myself the flexibility to reschedule due to health problems and allow my clients more opportunities to get into the books sooner than waiting every 6 months- year between booking rounds.
If you don’t get booked this time around always pay attention to my stories in instagram! I’ll always be posting new openings due to cancellations and reschedules. That’s your chance to beat the wait and snag a spot to get tattooed!
I do have to limit my days to protect my health from being more severe than it already is. Do not expect me to do an 8+ hour one shot tattoo. My sessions are usually around 5-6 hours a day. If it’s bigger than hand sized expect at least two sessions. If you’re from out of town and you’re unwilling to take a second trip out… keep it hand sized.
Please be understanding! My tattoos are very detailed and take multiple sessions to complete. This is so you recieve the best possible product without overworking you or myself!
What are your deposit and rates?
Time slots are booked for half days (3 hours) or full days (6 hours). You can expect to pay $540 plus tax ($577.80) for a half day or $1080 plus tax ($1,155.60) for a full day. My hourly rate past this time is at a rate of $180 per hour PLUS tax. My minimum is $360.
For ALL appointments I do require a non-refundable deposit of $180 plus tax ($192.60). There are no exceptions. This deposit goes towards booking a time slot for you to get tattooed and accounts for drawing time. Your deposit is not an additional cost but will come off the final price of the tattoo. The deposit will include only ONE reschedule.
My work is very detailed and time consuming! Expect multiple sessions on your project. A palm sized piece can take around 3 hours or more to complete in full color. Large scale projects may take a whole day to line out (6-7 hours.. I rarely do 8 hour days for my health). A moth can take all day depending on complexity of the design. Keep in mind that making a tattoo smaller doesn’t necessarily make it cheaper. I’ll have to do the same amount of detailed on a smaller scale which can make it take even longer.
What’s your reschedule policy?
Rescheduling is understandable but will require 3 days notice. A new appointment will be set up at this time. Failure to provide this notice will be considered a cancellation and will void your deposit. To set up another appointment an additional deposit will be required. I will also require an additional deposit if you reschedule multiple times in a row without proper cause. No call/no shows will result in a complete loss of your deposit.
Do you do consults?
I do not have a lot of time for consults so please fill out the Jotform with as much information you can tell me about all the absolute "requirements" you want in your tattoo. If you do not tell me this information I do not know to include it. If I have to do a redraw for this reason you will have to put another deposit down and your original will be forefit to cover for the original time spent creating the first design.
Payment/Booking?
Once we've confirmed an appointment date/time a deposit is required and must be paid via Venmo. If you have any other questions about the deposit policy feel free to send me an email at Cterlop@gmail.com.
